TBA Since 1976, Rutland, Vermont, has been home to the Crowley Brother's Memorial 10K. This 6 mi (10 km) marathon is the cornerstone of a weekend full of festivities. Other activities taking place during the event include a short-distance children's marathon as well as a 3 mi (5 km) marathon. The 6 mi marathon begins in Proctor, Vermont and ends in downtown Rutland. Address: Downtown Rutland VT

TBA The Vermont State Fair is an annual ten-day event that features fun-filled events for the entire family. Visitors enjoy the fireworks, midway, demolition derby, live country music entertainment, harness racing, tiger shows, racing pigs, magic shows and more. Rutland Halloween Parade + My Favorites
TBA Every October 31 in Rutland Vermont, floats, marching bands and local dignitaries parade through downtown to celebrate Halloween. Over 10,000 spectators attended the parade in 2006.
